Charity workday

Southern star and Tee Hee bees met together at my house today. We had ten ladies working and laughing from 10 till~ 3:30. We made 61 pillowcases for various charities in the Austin area. Gail provided lunch which was fantastic. Sara brought her homemade bread. Several others brought extras too.  It was a great positive effort on everyone’s part.

Saturday I delivered five new tops to the church.  I kept three to put the borders on.  At the retreat last week,  I finished two more embroideries of animal portraits. I made one block for the “tree farm”. I made Godric’s quilt top and back. Now I am quilting his quilt which is a friendship star 🌟 quilt.
I have many projects to work on, but have to take them slowly. Energy is lacking.  Each day is a new chance to create something beautiful.
